What to notice
- Render counters that flash when components re-render, with memo on and off
- Main-thread blocking vs chunked work, shown with a live frame meter
- Debounce vs throttle vs raw events, visualized on a timeline
- useTransition and useDeferredValue keeping input responsive under load
How it's built
- The frame meter samples requestAnimationFrame deltas and highlights frames over 16.7ms.
- Heavy work is chunked and yields with scheduler.postTask (MessageChannel fallback), keeping frames near 17ms instead of 236ms.
Hand-built in React 19 + TypeScript, with no UI or chart libraries.
